FRC Team #488, “Team XBOT”, formed in Redmond, WA

2001

Recruiting efforts for “Team XBOT” refocused from Redmond to Franklin High School, Seattle, WA

2007

XBOT Robotics incorporated as a nonprofit to provide a broader financial and governance umbrella for STEM education activities.

2008

FTC Team #2939, “Marvelous Power”, formed 

FTC Team #3231, “Rabao”, formed 

XBOT Robotics teams begin routinely participating in STEM community outreach events.

2010

501(c)3 status granted

2014

WeDo robotics instruction by Team XBOT students in Kimball Elementary School initiated 

 Affiliate program to assist first-time coaches start neighborhood FLL teams initiated 

2016

Pop-up workshops in 3D Printing and WeDo/Lego Mindstorms in public venues such as libraries and community centers introduced 

 Affiliate program for KidWind students at Asa Mercer Middle school initiated 

2017

University-level affiliate program for Marine Advanced Technical Education (MATE) competition team (Nautilus) supported

2019

Trained and supported 27 FLL teams from Seattle Public School elementary schools as part of Amazon Future Engineer program

Hosted innaugural South Seattle FLL District Qualification event at Franklin High School
